I had no idea what a "substack" was until now. Had to wade through a few YT videos to get the purpose of the platform. I think I like one of their competitors, a platform called Ghost. https://ghost.org/vs/substack/

I'm not sure about Ghost - it might be the betamax to Substacks VHS.
Speaking personally, I'm burned with Facebook pretty much - I like the fact there is little algorithm activity on substack.
I'll check out the article on Ghost though.
