I went through "a thousand deaths" as a mother during a divorce and custody battle. I had an idea/belief about what a mother should be, and that was repeatedly taken away, and I had to re-invent myself. I wanted blue clay and I was given clay of different colors.

Beautiful!

If it's aligned with your intentions, James, is it possible to do some kinda "quick run" on the tarot journey?

Maybe just a part of it, or an overview, or something like that. I'm personally interested in the second and third "7's". The middle and end of the journey.

And connecting all that in pragmatic way to how to change our relationships with our life, our creation, our thinking.

Thanks for a great energy james! 🙏🏼💫🙏🏼

I would certainly be happy to do an overview of the Tarot de Marseille as I see it and use it here on AoE, but wouldn't want to go fully into each card (that would end up being a podcast series in itself).

Interesting interview with Elad. I'm also a physio but in the USA. Interesting that there are PAIN PSYCHOLOGISTS and many of them do hypnosis. Most large burn units in the USA have psychologist/ hypnotherapist, some very good.

The biopsychosocial model of pain became very mainstream in physio with the book Explain Pain by Lorimer Mosely.

I do a simple protocol out of Stanford University called Empowered Relief. It's a one time pain education class which has folks imagine being in a close call car accident and feel / experience the sympathetic reaction . Then imagine stepping on a nail , similar sympathetic reaction . Then rate their stress level and rate their muscle tension level. Then they do a 10 minute relaxation tape . Rate again . Basically it teaches pain and stress are similar , stress is controlable with conscious relaxation so pain is controlable . They then give a relaxation tape with binaural beats with the suggestion that this can change the brain and reverse pain. People are instructed to listen to tape 2 x day for 6 weeks . Many are helped. There is a little CBT cognative reframing and do pleasant activities taught and voila many people are helped with a 1 x affordable treatment. And for more complex cases it's a good start because it minimizes the self judgenent that this pain is all in my head. A little education around sympathetic neuropeptides and they usually get it.

Mark Jensen is the psychology / hypnotist who does alot of Healthcare training. Elvira Lang MD also does.

Hmm, I'm quite fascinated by some of Deepak Chopra's synchronicity/ synchrodestiny/intention magic. I've been doing TM for 54 years and it seems good fortune happens.

Why are some people “ lucky” , and others just one shit show after another? Is their some way some folks are in harmony with the Tao in some way. Of course there is sickness old age and death…

Thanks for your inspiration

Jerry
