Back from HypnoThought Live, which was a blast, and catching up. I like your idea that fear can be a friend to a certain point. It makes a lot of sense. I used Fight, Flight, Freeze and Fawn... Fawn could include Hide-Avoid-Submit, terms I was not familiar with in this context. Also, it seems Melissa Tiers has a similar way of counteracting fear by mismatching it, to break its hold.

Fantastic episode! Perhaps, confirmation bias there because it agrees with what I’ve learned from personal experience, that once we realize that fundamentally we are and will be ok, the fear begins to retrench and we can begin to connect more fully. Curious what you think about pride. Is it fear in a different form or a distinct limitation/barrier?

Thank you so much for this incredibly inspiring episode. As a non-native speaker, I find myself listening to it two to three times to absorb as many insights as possible. However, I consider this a significant advantage and privilege, given that all your episodes are exceptionally rich and brimming with valuable content. I believe native English speakers might miss out on a great deal if they only savor it once. Your personal stories, in particular, deeply resonate with my own experiences, and I am sincerely grateful for your willingness to share them with us.
